1. Hermes In the second diesel era, we make a little excursion into the world of space travel the UAC TurboTrain was developed and built by the United Aircraft Corporation. The company, which also produced the space suits for the moon landing, made some changes to its engine. They were made in an aluminium lightweight construction. The engines were powered by gas turbines and could reach speeds of up to 274.9 km/h. The TurboTrain still holds the record for the fastest rail vehicle in Canada at 226.2 km/h.
Upgrades: The Hermes has a total of 6 upgrades available. Installing the Hydraulics mounting will increase the passenger size with +10 and adding the Pressure intensifier adds yet another +10 passengers. The Load shock abosrber increase the acceleration with +2 and adding the Inverter increases it with another +1. The Shaw bumper adds +25 km/h to the speed and the Pneumatic signal bell adds +15 km/h speed to this engine. The Improved insulation increases the reliability with +10% and the Control shaft adds another +10% increase.
